Soy Maple Chicken
SOY MAPLE CHICKEN
A little seasoning can take a boring old bit of chicken breast and make it into a delicious meal you can’t wait to eat this is one of my favourite combos.
- 1 Chicken Breast
- 1Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2Tbsp Maple Syrup (substitute with sugar free if you want)
- 1tsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1/4tsp ground Ginger
- 1/4tsp powdered Garlic
- 1/4tsp Sesame Seeds
- 1/2tsp Pink Salt
Mix all your marinade ingredients in a small bowl or mug.
Place your chicken breast in a freezer bag and add the marinade.
Let it sit in the fridge to marinate for 30+ minutes. (The longer the better)
Pull your chicken out of the fridge 15-20min before cooking and sit aside, we are just making it not fridge chill pre cooking.
Preheat your non stick pan on a med-high heat.
I recommend covering it in baking paper to stop mess on the pan.
Place your chicken breast in (I like to slice mine through the thick part so its flatter it cooks more evenly).
Allow to cook for 15-20mins (possibly more depending on breast size and if you split it).
Eat warm or cold.
I don’t add any macros for this dressing, its more a flavouring in the meat, and I don’t pour the excess into the pan, you don’t need to unless you like to make a mess of your pan.
